These are a few of my favorite things.....

I looked out the window and what did I see? Popcorn popping on the apricot tree.....

In looking out the window this morning I could not help but smile. Spring and warmer weather is finally here. The sun is shining and you can tell there is finally a difference in the air. The weather is finally taking a turn for the warmer and the snow falls are becoming lighter and more like rain. Not snow. And it is not sticking to the ground. The grass is turning green, the buds on the trees, and I can almost smell the BBQ's and the watermelon just around the corner.

Pondering some of my favorite past times during the warmer weather. I have to say I am looking forward to exploring in the mountains, hiking, BBQ's, 4th of July, walk
s in the park, beautiful sun sets, ice cream cones, wild flowers, birds singing out side my window, and hanging out with family on grandma and grandpa's new deck. I am hoping to learn some new songs on the guitar, fish in the river, oh and lets not forget girls camp, swimming, ice cream pie, sandels, short sleeves, less traffic in the mornings because school will be out soon, and families go on vacations, and on a positive note, some summer romance.......hopeful, wishful thinking.

I love it when the earth comes to life.....except for the bugs......it is fun to see brown and tan turn to green, yellow, orange, happier colors. In a symbolic way it makes me appreciate the resurrection, and the atonement. It is a reminder that life with out Christ in the center of it, is a lot like winter......cold and dead. But life with the Savior apart of it, is more like spring and summer.........happy, warm, peace, comfort, and we can see things with more love and color.

I still believe this is my year..........and it is.

I want to applaud Aly-pop for her hard work with her jump rope. And Congradulations on going to Nationals. I can
't wait to see the video's and I might go get me a rope not to try the fancy stuff Aly can do, but to see if I can get in shape like she is.......GREAT JOB ALY-Pop.

In looking forward to summer blessings, I am excited to meet Lucy. June I want to hurry and get here...so I can kiss Lucy's cheeks and see how she adds to the Popp family ........and yet there will be a few of us turning 29 again.

It is great to see how my bro
thers and sisters families are growing, not only in additions to the family but in growing up.......aunt Tauni remains young at heart and can jump on the trampoline, and still enjoys swinging at the park......

Mom mentioned Megan, Ryan and Aiden might be coming for a visit this summer, hope so. Can't wait to remind Aiden who his favorite aunt is and to see him interact with all of or most of his cousins. It will be nice to catch up with Megan and Ryan and to enjoy their company at a few of the summer BBQ's.

Hurry up
Harris family. July will be a blast when you are here.

Spring is a time for new beginnings. I am excited to start my new position at work
on Monday and for a happy and warm rest of the year............

Some other things I am looking forward too this summer coming up:

***May 3 I am having a candle / scents party at my place. Anyone who does not come or live close by, let me know if you want any candle scents to go in your candle warmers....Or if you want a new pot to burn some new candle scents in......they make for great wedding / birthday gifts also.

***May 10 Some friends and I are going to Jericho Road concert here in Riverton, Utah. Anyone wanting to come down on a Saturday is welcome. Adults $10 / children $5
